Agreement Makes it Easy for Fans to Securely Purchase Tickets to AXS Events Via YouTube Official Artist Channels, Expands AXS Anywhere Platform
AXS and YouTube have teamed up to make it even easier for fans to securely purchase tickets for live events. Fans watching videos from YouTube Official Artist Channels will now see listings from AXS events across the U.S. included on the video page. Deepening the connection between artist and fan, the agreement enables viewers to simply click and purchase tickets to their most desired events.
The partnership with YouTube further expands the AXS Anywhere ticketing distribution program; a fully integrated experience that enables consumers to find and purchase primary AXS tickets for participating venues through these popular platforms. YouTube adds to existing partners likeSpotify, Groupon, Goldstar, Gametime & Entertainment Benefits Group (EBG).
“In partnership with YouTube, we are proud to continue extending the reach of the AXS platform naturally where fans are being fans,” said Dean DeWulf, SVP, Music for AXS. “This contextual integration enables the more than 1.3 Billion YouTube users to be a click away from seeing their favorite bands live at AXS venues and events across the country.”
The AXS Anywhere technology provides a superior consumer experience as AXS issues tickets directly via its distribution partners, allowing customers to avoid will call and eliminating the need for paper tickets or vouchers. This integration also adds a layer of security, as each individual ticket is validated upon purchase. AXS Anywhere provides venues more options to customize their ticket distribution across the partners of their choosing to reach the broadest audience possible.
The music-forward audience of YouTube is a perfect addition to the tens of millions of combined users nationwide expanding the mission of AXS Anywhere— to provide customers with the widest variety of distribution channels that allow them to purchase AXS tickets easily and safely.
AXS is a leader in ticketing technologies that help fans get the tickets they want to the events they want to attend. The company’s FanSight purchase experience, now accessible directly via a link displayed on artist YouTube videos, includes both standard and resale tickets on one platform.
