Innovative ticketing solution now available for Clippers games and other live entertainment options ticketed through AXS

LOS ANGELES, DEC. 21, 2016 — Appearing on “CONAN” Tuesday night, LA Clippers owner Steve Ballmer discussed the Clippers new Seat Bid service, which lets fans place bids for 100% authentic premium tickets through an online marketplace.

This marketplace is available through AXS and is powered by its patented Flash Seats® technology, which gives fans a secure online portal where they can buy event seats safely and conveniently. All of the Seat Bid tickets are premium seat locations, marking an innovative step forward in how teams and events sell their experiences. Flash Seats handles the payment transactions and enables fans to enter events using a secure digital ticket.

“We think people ought to be able to get the seats they want when they want them,” Ballmer said to CONAN, explaining the AXS-powered service. “When fans bid on or buy seats, we know then that they paid a price they wanted to pay.”

In the interview, Ballmer mentions that he’s selling two of his own courtside seats through Seat Bid for the team’s Feb. 15 game against the Atlanta Hawks. This unique opportunity gives fans a chance to bid or buy Ballmer’s courtside seats situated on the baseline near the Clippers bench.
