AXS Insight adventured to Seattle, WA, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, kicking off 2023 by taking in the sights, sounds, and the latest in the modernized AXS ticketing platform tools. The January timeframe gave AXS the perfect opportunity to deliver innovations and updates faster and more efficiently to AXS clients who will reap the benefits the whole year through.
Stripped Back & Hands-on
Insight Seattle featured stripped-back, hands-on, ticketing-focused content targeting day-to-day operations. AXS Apex took center stage in both the AXS Roadmap Keynote with COO Tom Andrus and across the four concurrent breakout tracks. Insight attendees got an unveiling first look at the axs.com and the AXS App updates being made to support our personalization efforts. From sophisticated search and expanded shopping carts to in-venue notifications, the facelift and fresh functionality make it easier to give fans the best experience, not just what’s best available.
Making It Rain Revenue
AXS Business Development VP’s, Stephanie Streeter and Shaun Eidson, made sure that each attendee walked away with a clear understanding of all revenue-optimizing tools AXS makes available and a newfound interest in getting their own money cannon. Barb Robertson from Cheyenne Frontier Days and Nicole Paparozzi from The Bowery Presents, took the stage for the AXS version of Between Two Ferns (in this case bamboo) bringing stories from the trenches of event day system overloads, artists who took their time taking the stage and getting thousands of angry New Yorkers to use yonder bags. We all have our war stories, and these did not disappoint. Capping off the content, best-selling author, team performance coach and mindset expert to major brands including Amazon, the SF 49ers and Crypto.com Arena, Paul Epstein, facilitated Insight’s first professional development workshop. At AXS, we want our clients to be the best in ticketing and the best in their professional journey.
Fun, Games & Friends
AXS clients had the best cultural stimulation Seattle offers to any visitor with dinner at the Museum of Modern Pop Culture presented by AXS Anywhere partner, FEVO. Here, clients, staff, and partners gathered to reconnect with each other and make new friends while experiencing interactive gaming, a visual journey through the hip-hop genre, and a video DJ fueling the party with 90s MTV-style videos on MoPop’s three-story, larger-than-life display screen.
When in Seattle, The Showbox is THE place to catch national headlining tours or up-and-coming local stars. This historic local staple served attendees with a built-in ‘site-visit’, entertainment and nearly broke the photobooth attempting to capture groups of colleagues, friends, and the new connections that can ONLY be made at AXS Insight.
Can’t Stop Won’t Stop
Insight doesn’t stop when the lights go down and the attendees go home. Look out for Insight Spring & Summer Sessions where we revisit themes and tools complete with updates for those who couldn’t be in Seattle or those thirsty for more.
